Senior Adult Ministry

Our Senior Adult Ministry mission is to bring excellence to ministry for Christians in the second half of life.

There are various ministries that have been formed that give our seniors an opportunity to get involved and help us reach out to other senior adults in our surrounding community. We also enjoy fellowship on a monthly basis whether it be on a day trip to a fun nearby event, luncheons with other seniors, or a special conference just for senior adults. Check out the available activities and events below.

  • Miles Pike  & Lunch

    Thursday, February 13.  Miles will lead us with a concert beginning at 11:00 AM in the Chapel. We will eat lunch in the CFLC and have soups and chili. Please plan on bringing your favorite soup or chili to share. Desserts are encouraged.

Weekly Activities

Amazing Grays Choir

Our Senior Adult Choir is open to all 55 and older.  We meet each Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Choir Room.

Senior Adult Exercise Program

Mondays & Wednesdays at 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM.  On Mondays we do a low impact cardio workout and on Wednesday we work out in the Senior Adult Room located on the 2nd Floor of the CFLC.  

Ladies Dominos

The ladies meet each Monday at 10:00 AM in the CFLC Senior Adult Room on the 2nd Floor.  Bring your lunch and join us for a time of fun, fellowship and food.


Wood Carving

The wood carvers meet each Monday at 9:00 AM in the CFLC, Room 3 on the 2nd Floor.  Bring your carving tools and make sure to pack your lunch.

Chandler Family Life Center

The CFLC has the equipment to keep our Seniors active.  We have a walking track, full basketball court, cardio equipment and weight room.  FBCPG members are free and non-FBCPG members pay a small monthly fee ($5 per month).  The building is open  Monday - Friday 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday 8:00 AM until Noon.

Prayer Breakfast (Monthly)

First Thursday at each month at 8:00 AM,in the Student Building. Join us for a time of good food and fellowship!  Cost for breakfast is $5 per person. (Bacon, Eggs, Biscuits, grits, gravy, fruit, etc...)
