Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19.

We believe that God has placed us in this world to go. We provide several opportunities for our members to engage in missional activities in our own community and around the world. Whether it be a monthly prison ministry or a trip to Guatemala, there is a place for you to fulfill Matthew 28:19. Please send us an email if you are interested in any of these opportunities to serve through missions.

Jail and homeless ministry

We serve a generous God, and our God is made big in the moments that we need Him the most. Our Jail and Homeless ministry both meet people when they're going through great emotional, physical, and spiritual trials. We are passionate about allowing the gospel to penetrate these culturally dark places.

Our Jail ministry meets every other week to visit the inmates at the Bessemer Police Jail.

Our Homeless ministry is seasonal. We collect goods for whatever needs are present during different times of the year, such as blankets and coats or food and water. Passing these items out allows us to meet people's physical needs, which gives us an opportunity to discover and minister to their spiritual needs.
